About Us

In the early 2000’s, Tina McLeod was a financial advisor who found that in her role as an advisor, she was not just providing financial advise, she was educating clients on how personal finances worked. Today, she is the owner of Your Money Your Plan; a business that originally provided financial assessments and plans to clients. And again, Tina discovered that there are so many people who just don’t understand how personal finances work. Since then, she has earned her Personal Financial Planning designation and developed an on-line educational program that will teach clients the basics of personal finances so they can make informed decisions about their financial plans.

What is a Personal Financial Planner?

The Personal Financial Planner (PFP®) designation is a leading credential for comprehensive financial planning in Canada, recognized by Canada’s largest financial institutions. It ensures that financial professionals have the knowledge and skills to address all aspects of a client’s financial situation.

“Thanks to you, your Workbook and your advice, I now have a positive bank balance, my bills are up-to-date and I don’t touch my savings anymore. Thank you.”

Kim

“We started working with Tina about 9 months ago. She taught us how to understand our debt, how to start paying it off and to work within our budget. With her ideas, suggestions and some hard work; we only have our 2 student loans and one credit card left to pay. Her continued support and guidance has helped us stay focused and motivated to reach our goals.”
